by Anthony Oloiboo (This poem has been slightly edited)
Laziness is a hidden disease,
It makes people live a bad life.
People die because of laziness.
Laziness is a sign of a poor life.
Country enconomy goes down day by day,
lack of food in the families,
children get deficiency diseases
and farms are left without anything planted.
Our stores are empty.
Lazy people lack money to buy items
and a lazy mind never is appreciated.
A lazy mind has evil thoughts.
Lazy people end up stealing from others
and they don’t achieve anything in their lives.
Good goals never involve laziness.
Laziness is put aside for a nation to develop.
Love it or hate it, laziness must be avoided.
Day in and day out laziness must be driven away.
To students, laziness is the greatest enemy of books.
When will my laziness end?
